Whenever I find myself on a mission to find a wonderful new foundation, the high street is always where I turn to. There is such a variety of different affordable foundations, therefore it can sometimes seem slightly overwhelming when you are looking for the perfect one, so today I am going to be sharing with you 3 of my favorites which I frequently alternate between!
The L'Oreal True Match Foundation
The first foundation from the high street which I adore is from L'Oreal and it is their True Match liquid foundation. The packaging has changed on this quite recently, and I am pretty sure that they slightly tweaked the formula too, as I much prefer this to the old one (or version) which I owned. After trying that one I was slightly hesitant about re purchasing, however if you are looking for a medium to full coverage, slightly luminous finish, then look no further. It's one of my go to's now and I could go on and on about how wonderful it is!
The L'Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation
Again from L'Oreal, is a foundation more tailored towards those with allot of shine, and it is the Infallible 24 hr Matte Foundation. This totally turned my opinion over of a matte face, and it leaves your skin appearing so seamless and almost air brushed. Aside how it clings to dry areas (which I was fully expecting from a matte foundation) this is beautiful on your skin and lives up to it's long lasting label. I have yet to leave my makeup on for a whole 24 hours, but for the 6 hours I spend at school, it's great.
The Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation
After hearing some great reviews on this foundation, I finally went out and bought it really recently, and so far I love it. Like other Bourjois foundations seem to be, it's rather yellow toned, which probably doesn't bode well with my pink under tones, but aside that it's such a lovely light weight base. It gives allot of coverage with it's color correcting properties, however on the skin looks so natural and fresh. which is exactly what I like in a foundation. It also gives a lit from with in glow for me, without feeling greasy or exposing too much shine, so that is great too!
I hope you found this post helpful, and as always thank you very much for taking the time to read it!
